My Sketches (I'm Just Doing This For Fun)

Image
Soo, this is my first time making a realistic sketch like this. Not really good maybe, I’m having a hard time making these sketch. But I like these. I never knew I can draw things like this. So I feel quite satisfied J And, this picture below was supposed to be Super Junior’s Lee Sungmin . But I guess it’s not really alike, huh? But I love to make this sketches J Also, I have two more sketches. HSJ’s Okamoto Keito and Liv Tyler as Arwen Undomiel on The Lord of the Rings. Keito looks really weird on my sketch, because it’s hard for me to draw the position of his face. So, I’m so sorry, Keito-san!申し訳ありません! (I copy-paste it from google translate. should be means I'm sorry ;))  But, I think Arwen on this sketch of mine is quite easy to identified. Do you agree? J

Rick Riordan's The Kane Chronicles

Image
Well, this post is about another masterpiece of Rick Riordan: The Kane Chronicles. I like the idea of Egyptian gods and goddesses. And the main characters are also really interesting (But no one can beat the swag of Percy Jackson, I assure you).  Two siblings, the Kanes. Sadie and Carter. I love both of them. Sadie, with her annoying acts is so real. Rick Riordan surely really understand what’s on us girls’ minds. And Carter… he has his own charms. Unfortunately, he already has Zia Rashid as his primary crush. Here are the official illustrations of the two siblings. Oh, and Zia too. CARTER KANE SADIE KANE ZIA RASHID The series has 3 books. The Red Pyramid, The Throne of Fire, and the newest (published on May 1 st ) is The Serpent’s Shadow. I read in a website, it was Rick Riordan’s website if I’m not mistaken ( www.rickriordan.com ) that he will continue the sequel of the serial. Just like Percy Jackson and The Olympians with The Heroes of Olympus.

The Battle of Labyrinth Indonesian Cover

Image
Oh, and I found something interesting at Percy Jackson and the Olympians section. You see, the book in the middle, the fourth book of the series, The Battle of the Labyrinth. It is the older cover. The newest cover dominated by red and looks like the two books on the right and left of The Battle of the Labyrinth. It’s not important, I know. But I just found it interesting. Why did they put the older version when they have the newer? And they only put the older version for the fourth book. But, it doesn’t matter. I already have all of the books, on both versions. So, I have 9 books of the series (The fifth book, The Last Olympian, has not the older cover version).

The Boy Sherlock Holmes: Death in the Air at Book Fair

Image
Here is another book that I’ve been waiting for. The second book from The Boy Sherlock Holmes series: Death in the Air. I love Sherlock Holmes and I always buy every book that has Sherlock Holmes as the character. Like, let’s just say…  Tracy Mack and Michael Citrin’s Sherlock Holmes and The Baker Street Irregulars series. I love that serials. So, I bought this book, and take this picture on March 11 th . But… I just post it now. I’m sorry. A little bit busy here, and I haven’t mention about the accident I had. But the point is, this book is so cool. Also the first book, Eye of the Crow. It is great. I suggest you to grab it instantly at bookstores.

The Lost Hero on Book Fair

Image
Well, well, my first post on 2012. It’s been months since the last time I posted. I want to show you some pictures when I went to a Book Fair. I’ve found a book I’ve been waiting for months J Yup! Rick Riordan’s The Lost Hero. The first series from The Heroes of Olympus. Sequel of Percy Jackson and the Olympians. I don’t like the cover so much. I prefer the U.S’s cover. But… never mind! I enjoyed the book, though I have read the English version months before. And for my visitors, who have not buy the book yet, I suggest you to hurry. This book is magnificent! P.S: I actually bought this book and took this picture on March 11 th ;)
